In 2017 we launched Australia's new home of U.S Sports Lifestyle in Australia, featuring the very best ranges from the NBA and MLB and crowd favourites from the NFL and NHL. This is an exciting opportunity for a Photographer to join our team. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for shooting all products across the business and working closely with the Creative Manager.

You will be responsible for....

  • Completing all photography requests in the studio or on offsite shoots
  • Managing the shoot; to include set up, styling, lighting in the studio and on-location
  • Determining lighting required to achieve a consistent reproducible image
  • Shooting and editing all product categories in accordance with agreed timetable
  • Retouching and colour correcting images to be web ready
  • Responsible for all technical and production requirements of the photo shoot
  • Work within the styling guidelines of the business & brands
  • Researching photographic trends and anticipating creative opportunities
  • Coordinating brand appropriate models
  • Creating and Executing Apparel Flatlays

Ideally you will have....

  • Ability to take still-life product and talent photography in high volume
  • Knowledge in photographic software and retouching (Photoshop & Lightroom)
  • Experience in Video editing and videography
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects are highly regarded
  • Good eye for detail, creative flair, hands on and technical
  • Adaptable and flexible, highly organized and excellent time management skills

advancedlife is a national photographic company specialising in School Photography for 36 years. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join our busy photographic team in our NSW Branch, based in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches.

Don't live near Brookvale? No problem, we service schools in North, South and Western Sydney, so you can meet us at the job!

We are looking for people interested to be trained as group and portrait photographers and photographic assistants. These in-the-field roles require both working independently and as part of the team. All equipment, training and uniforms are supplied. You will be paid to attend training in mid-January 2021, in order to start work in school Term 1.

These casual positions will be 3 to 5 days work per week, with time off during and around school holidays. Early starts to the day are common and some late finishes. (We do not work just school hours.) 

The opportunity for permanent employment exists for the right candidates.

 The successful candidates will:

  • Be aware that this is a busy physical role, with standing and lifting involved

advancedlife is a national photographic company specialising in School Photography for 36 years. We are seeking energetic, reliable people to join our busy photographic team in our Dubbo Branch, servicing the local area and surrounds.

We are looking for people interested to be trained as group and portrait photographers and photographic assistants. Ideally you will:

• Display proven ability to shoot still-life product and lifestyle imagery in high volume, capturing a consistently high standard.

• Be digitally savvy and passionate about image detail, lighting, retouching and colour correction.

• Possess creative flair with a hands on approach

• Be highly proficient and experienced in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom

• Have extensive experience in video editing and videography

• Have good knowledge of social media and content specs and requirements

• Be adaptable, organised with excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines

• Follow brand styling and maintain a cohesive standard of work.

• Capable of working in a team environment as well as independently

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ photography / videography experience with retail brands.

Role will include:

• Photography of still product images to provide confidence to the customer

• Photography of basic lifestyle photography — for packaging, catalogues and content in the studio and on location.

• Filming and editing finished video content for a variety of platforms.

• Setting and configuring cameras, lighting and audio equipment correctly for shoots.

• Setting up studio, props etc in a variety of styles and techniques

• Maintaining upkeep of images and descriptions in the internal system

• Providing support to the creative team in the creation of new and innovative content.
